This Saturday, August 22, from 10:30-11:30 AM, the West Regional Library will be holding a reading event for children called “See Spot Read.” Yes, the children will be reading to dogs.
According to the library:
Dogs are patient, attentive, non-judgemental–AND they love to be read to! We invite beginning readers to come and practice their skills with the certified therapy dogs of the local organization See Spot Read. School Age (readers K and up) No registration required, call 463-8520 for more information!
Will it be Hound of the Baskervilles or Clifford? Call of the Wild or Go, Dog, Go! Bring your young reader to the West Regional Library and find out.
“See Spot Read” runs every fourth Saturday of the month. Someone please send us pictures!
