The Town website is getting an upgrade this weekend.
Don’t try to surf up the town website this weekend. A Public Information Notice advises that the site will be getting an upgrade and service may be spotty.
The Town of Cary has scheduled an upgrade for its Web site, www.townofcary.org, from Friday, September 25 through Sunday, September 27. The Web site may be unavailable for all or part of this period as we prepare to launch a redesign of the site.
Citizens are encouraged to clear their computer’s Internet history and empty their browser cache to ensure proper viewing of the Town’s Web site following this weekend’s Web work. Bookmarks that link users to the Town’s Web site may be unavailable following the upgrade.
We’re not so sure about the advice to clear your history, but the town could sure use a new website. Can’t wait to see what they have created.
