The Mallarme Chamber Players in the Nelson Room at Duke University.
The Page-Walker Winter Concert Series begins on Sunday, Oct 18 with The Mallarme Chamber Players.
Critically acclaimed for their innovative style, The Mallarme Chamber Players blend traditional works with the diverse and rich history of America. Expect to hear African, Latino, Indian, Middle-Eastern and Asian influences mixing with the classical repertoire of a chamber orchestra. They might be the Triangle’s answer to the Chronos Quartet.
Page-Walker itself provides an intimate listening experience. With or without amplification, you can hear and feel the instruments. Bring kids and sit up close for the maximum excitement.
Other events in the series:
The series is $75 per person or $15 at the door (subject to availability). All performances will be held on Sunday afternoons at 4 p.m. at The Page-Walker Arts & History Center, 119 Ambassador Loop in downtown Cary.
