Are you a member of a Cary Community organization? Would your group like to leave a lasting mark for the town this holiday season?  Consider creating an ornament to be hung at the Cary Tree in Town Hall.   Each year, the tree features ornaments that reflect the diversity of our town.  Groups and organizations are encouraged to create an ornament that reflects the intent or purpose of their organization.   Groups that provided an ornament last year may use their same ornament, replace the old one, or add a new one.

The deadline for submissions is fast approaching (Nov 23).

To participate: call  (919) 469-4061, and create the ornament using the specifications available on the Town’s Web site at Community Tree Project.  Bring the ornament to the Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department desk at Town Hall, 316 N. Academy St.

Then, come to the Tree Lighting Ceremony and Community Tree decorating celebration on Dec. 5 to represent your group.
