Cary, NC- Cary Ballet Conservatory held their 13th annual Spring Gala this past Saturday (March 13)Â with two performances at Cary Academy.
This year’s show included a diverse repertoire of nine pieces, including two feature performances. The first one was ”Who Cares?” a Balanchine Ballet, presented by arrangement with The George Balanchine Trust®, and produced in accordance with the Balanchine Style ® and Balanchine Technique ® Service standards established and provided by the Trust.

The second was “Sabor a Mi” choreographed by Susan Quinn Williams from the University of Arizona. The dancers who performed in the Gala were part of the Cary Ballet Company, aged 10-18, and must audition to be a member of this select group.
The Company was founded in 1998 by artistic director Suzanne Laliberté Clark. Cary Ballet Conservatory is the official school of the Cary Ballet Company.
The Cary Ballet Company produces two major annual performances – “Visions of Sugarplums” and the “Annual Spring Gala” These are events which have become favorite traditions of Triangle audiences. Cary Ballet dancers perform nationally and have been featured on television and film. The Company provides Master Classes, auditions, collaborative art events and artist-in-residence programs.
