Local artist Kellie Loomis is coordinating this event.

“’Handmade for Haiti’” is all about helping out Doctors Without Borders to aid in the Haiti relief efforts, focusing on post surgical care and mental health.  Although many other organizations are leaving Haiti, Doctors Without Borders is maintaining a presence,” Loomis told CaryCitizen.
