Morrisville, NC - If you live in Morrisville and have been waiting for your opportunity to get involved in local governance, your train has arrived. Apply for a position on one of Morrisville’s Citizen Advisory Committees now through July 31.
From the Town website:
Several of the Town’s ideas and programs have been initiated at the citizen level. Membership on Morrisville’s Citizen Advisory Committees is one of the best ways to promote change in your community! The Town Council appoints all committee members, who in turn directly advise the Council in their areas of expertise.
The benefits of serving your community are endless! It allows you to gain insight and give input into how your town is governed, and how your tax dollars are spent. It gives you an opportunity to network with other residents with similar interests and skills. Morrisville volunteers are also recognized with an annual event.
