Agriculture: Corn Mazes Are Coming

August 7, 2010 | Story by: | Categories: Agriculture, Featured

Cary, NC – The signs are out in Western Cary and Morrisville. Corn Mazes are just a few weeks away.

The Kay Yow Corn Maze is sure to be popular once again. As I understand it, GPS is used to etch the fancy designs into a corn field.

Phillips Corn Maze is set to start on September 4. They had the irrigation out and their stand of corn looks green and thick.

Right across from Carpenter Village in Morrisville is Green Acres corn maze.

Plan on taking your boy scout troop, gymnastics team or Indian Princesses out for a trip to one of our local corn mazes. It’s great bonding for the kids and adds a valuable source of revenue for our farmers.

Go at night. Much spookier.
