- SAS Employee Services Fair
Story by Matt Young.
Cary, NC – We love to report on the great things Cary companies do for their employees and the community. On August 10 SAS held their 2010 Employee Services and Support Fair intended to helps employees reacquaint themselves with SAS’ numerous benefits and services – which support them on the job and away from the office.
More than 25 internal departments at SAS participated in the event at SAS world headquarters in Cary.
What was there:
- Clubs at SAS, including the Red Hat Ladies, Chess Club and Motorcycle club – complete with activities for employees to get a taste of what these groups do for fun. The motorcycle club brought a bunch of motorcycles and parked them in front of the building. And, of course, the ladies in red hats and purple dresses always makes for a good visual!
- A prize wheel to learn hoe people can de-stress their to-do list, while entering to win a free night’s stay at The Umstead Hotel and Spa.
- SAS Jeopardy, an e-reader petting zoo at the SAS Library, and a Wii break at the Recreation and Fitness Center booth.
- A Work/Life booth to donate items to the Back to School drive and enter a raffle for fun prizes.
- A SAS Yard Sale to learn about how employees use the SAS Bulletin Board to find deals on other people’s unwanted “stuff.”
Cary is a good place to work and play!
