Cary, NC -The ’98 Triangle Futbol Club’s Cosmos soccer team, which trains in Cary at Davis Drive Middle School, won the U12 Bronze bracket at the Dick’s 9th Annual Charlotte Invitational tournament last weekend, defeating the 98 HFC White team from Asheville, NC in the finals.
Final score:
98 TFC Cosmos: 5
98 HFC White: 2
“I am proud of the team’s accomplishments,” said Reginald Lerebours, Coach for the 98 TFC Cosmos. “The final was a difficult game for them. They won the match under heavy rain and in spite of nagging injuries sustained by two key players during the tournament.”
