Cary, NC – Next Thursday, August 26, you can support the Cary High School Band simply by eating a burger and fries.
That’s because the Cary Band Booster Club is holding a fundraiser with Five Guys restaurant on the corner of Maynard and Walnut (Barnes & Noble Plaza). From 5-10 p.m., 10% of all qualified food and beverage sales will go directing to the Band boosters. Take-out orders are also included.
All you have to do is bring the flier and present it at time of payment.
Nourish the band and nourish yourself.
86 Years of High School Musical Excellence
The Cary High Band is in its 86th year. In addition to playing a football games and Lazy Daze, they have appeared in the Tournament of Roses Parade (three times), the Orange Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Gator Bowl and Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
In fact, the Cary High Band is actually five bands:
