Inc's 5000 – Cary & Morrisville Companies Honored

Cary, NC – Inc. Magazine’s list of fastest growing companies in America came out today. Here’s a roundup of local businesses that topped the list.

#92: A10 Clinical Solutions – With 220 employees and more than $8 million in revenue for 2009, A10 was ranked a very respectable #92 out of the fleetest 5000. They offer an array of comprehensive clinical research and occupational health care services for pharmaceutical, government, academic, research institution, hospital, and corporate customers.

#247: Triangle Direct Media – With 25 employees and $4 million in billing, TDM ranked #247 on the list. TDM provides social media marketing, product review campaigns, search engine optimization (SEO), strategic linking campaigns, content marketing solutions, and blog marketing.

#268: Connexion Technologies – Headed up by former Cary Mayor Glen Lang, Connexion has 474 employees and more than $18 million in annual billings. Connexion Technologies customizes and manages provider-neutral networks for single-family, multi-family, high-rise, resort and hospitality properties nationwide (I think that means fiber optics).

#485: CliniPlace – This Morrisville company has 43 employees and more than $5 million in revenue. Clinipace is a clinical research organization specializing in clinical research services for phase I-IV trials and registries for biopharmaceutical and medical device firms. The company has particular expertise in oncology, and has managed more than 90 contract research projects involving 100,000 patients.

#518: USfalcon – Another Morrisville business with 182 employees and more than $100 million in revenue. USfalcon provides aerospace mission support, engineering, IT, logistics, training, and operations support for Department of Defense customers.
