Cary, NC – For several years, Dr. Allan Acton of Cary Family Dental has held a smile makeover contest, whereby the deserving winners received a free dental makeover. This year, his office has decided to open up their services on a first-come, first-served basis for free services on Saturday April 14, 2012.

Dr. Allan Acton and a team of dental professionals will provide free extractions, fillings or cleanings. Hygienists, dental assistants and other dental professionals will also be donating their time and resources in order to provide free dental care to as many people as possible.

Arrive Early, Dressed to Wait

Patients are asked to arrive early, as the event will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Event registration will begin at 7 a.m., and patients will be seen through 5 p.m. Patients must be 18 or older and have a valid ID to participate. Patients are also encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather and to bring chairs, water, snacks, etc., as they wait outside until their turn.

Cary Magazine is serving as media partner for the event, Ruckus Pizza’s Morrisville location will be donating refreshments, and additional sponsors will be providing items for goodie bags. A DJ will be playing music and magician Michael Casey will be entertaining the crowd with close-up magic.

“For three years we’ve run a very successful smile makeover contest with Cary Magazine, but it was always difficult to choose one winner among so many deserving candidates,” says Dr. Acton. “This year we’re taking a new approach to help as many people as we can in one day with this Dentistry From The Heart event.”
