Cary, NC – Under the heading “Interesting and Eclectic Events in Cary,” there’s a car wash for tubas this weekend at Cary High School.
Who doesn’t enjoy a high school band? This Saturday, you have a chance to show your support and get a clean car.
Before the flood of inquiries via email begin, let’s be clear: it’s a car wash to raise money to buy tubas. You cannot bring your valved instrument for a hose-down. Bring your car, truck or minivan.
A quick check on Ebay shows the cost of a tuba can be $2,000 – $10,000. That’s a lot of brass!
