Cary, NC — Crescent Commons, the shopping center across the street from Waverly Place, is filled with distinct shops and great dining options. Here’s your guide.
Your Guide to Cary Shopping Centers
Curious about other places in Cary? Maybe they’re in our series of Cary Shopping Centers.
Years ago, Waverly Place experienced a renaissance, and, now, the shopping center is bustling with fun and quality stores, restaurants and events that draw crowds of customers every week. Crescent Commons, the shopping center across the street, has a lot to offer shoppers, too.
You’ll find the center at the corner of Tryon Road and Kildaire Farm Road.
Crescent Commons is popular because of its big anchors, Harris Teeter and Walmart, but it’s home to the best bagel shop in Cary, a store just for bird-watchers, a quality pet shop, a toy store, a delicious Asian restaurant and more. Check out this complete list.
New York Bagel & Deli III is the best place to get bagels in Cary. The bagels, danishes, cannolis, cheesecakes, cookies and more are all scratch-made. If you’re looking for protein, you can get a breakfast bagel made anyway you can imagine with lox, bacon, cheese, eggs and more. Coffee, desserts, lunch sandwiches and heroes are all available, too.
Ginger Asian Cuisine has a large menu full of Chinese and Thai food. Lunch specials and easy carry-out options make it a good take-out option, but I’ve only eaten inside the restaurant, which is also a very nice environment for a dinner out. The Pad Thai is great.
Other dining options in Crescent Commons include a Pizza Hut and Cary’s second Tropical Smoothie Cafe, which is still under construction but coming soon.
Animal & Pet Supply
Unleashed is a great store to buy natural, healthy food and other quality pet supply items for your dogs and cats. Then, just a few doors down, you’ll find Wild Birds Unlimited, the destination for budding or serious birdwatchers to pick up seed, feeders and more.
A large Harris Teeter anchors one end of Crescent Commons while a Walmart Supercenter anchors the other end. Walmart Supercenters stock grocery items, too.
Photo Design Services
The Fotoshoppe offers photo printing and scanning services, photo restoration and even classes to help inspire customers. You can get photos printed on canvases, books, greeting cards and more. On a related note, Crescent Commons also holds a Frame Masters store, which will custom frames almost anything (even the challenging stuff).
Health & Beauty
Crescent Commons has a Foot Solutions store, or a footwear chain that offers high-tech fittings, custom arch supports and a selection of shoes for men and women. There’s also an Eye Care Associates, a Great Clips, an Aqua Nail Spa and a Sally Beauty Supply.
Chang’s Martial Arts offers martial arts classes for adults and children along with birthday parties, summer camps, after-school care and more.
Learning Express Toys has crafts, science kits, stuffed animals and more.
Other Shops & Services
Crescent Commons is a big place! You’ll also find an Avail Vapor, a Coastal Federal Credit Union, a Scottrade, a UPS Store, a Dry Cleaners and a Mattress Firm, which is located in the free-standing building that used to hold Blockbuster.
