Cary, NC- May 24 was declared Cary’s National Taiwan Heritage Day in a proclamation by Councilman Jack Smith. He spoke at the beginning of what turned out to be an amazing display of athletics by the Taipei Physical Education College’s award winning Cultural Arts Performing Team Friday at the Cary Arts Center. In this lighthearted ballet, based on the timeless tale A Midsummer Night’s Dream, these exquisite young dancers flitted around effortlessley on their toes casting magical spells on young lovers.
