Cary, NC- May 24 was declared Cary’s National Taiwan Heritage Day in a proclamation by Councilman Jack Smith. Cary, NC – Faeries, Petit Fleurs and all sorts of playful forest creatures emerged for Cary Ballet Company’s Tales of an Athenian Forest this past weekend at Cary Arts Center. In this lighthearted ballet, based on the timeless tale A Midsummer Night’s Dream, these exquisite young dancers flitted around effortlessley on their toes casting magical spells on young lovers. Cary, NC – The Sigma Rho Zeta chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc, a Cary-based sorority, is looking for area step-dancing teams to compete in their annual showcase on March 16th. Money from the event goes towards awarding a scholarship to a graduating Cary resident. Read more
