Milano is pleased to be able not only to survive, but grow and add jobs in the current economy. “Being able to add jobs in our community makes me feel very gratified as a small business owner” says Milano. She went on to say “Cary has been such a wonderful place for my business, having emigrated from Croatia; I sincerely appreciate the opportunities I have had to build a successful business!”

Clients of La Thérapie, who attended the grand opening celebration, were thrilled to see the new beautiful salon and be treated to wine and beer tastings, hors d’oeuvres and mini spa treatments. Local business owner, Laurie Montocchio, an attendee, said “There was such buzz and excitement at the grand opening; it is wonderful to feel that energy and to know that our community is so resilient after such an economic downturn”.

The Milanos are always working to help other small businesses in the area and continued with that effort by inviting a new Cary venture to participate in the open house. Vesta Fiery Gourmet Toppings is a new company, started by Cary resident Ben Tuorto, and he was on hand providing samples of his new products. Tuorto said “I very much appreciated this opportunity to showcase my new products; Nina and Mario have provided tremendous help and support to me with the start of my business”.
