In addition to the roads being packed with traveling college students and families, spring break often means far more alcohol consumption than usual. It isn’t unheard of for people to drive to and from the beach or bar after drinking, so it’s incredibly important to remain alert behind the wheel.

The Full Frame Documentary Film Festival is back for its 22nd year! Film aficionados may recall the Full Frame “Roadshow” screened selected documentary films at the Cary Theater on a couple of occasions in 2018. Current plans call for the Full Frame “Roadshow” to continue with selected screenings at the Cary Theater sometime later in 2019, but for anyone interested in the full assortment of documentary films, now is the time to make plans to visit the upcoming festival in Durham at the beautiful and historic Beaux Arts-style Carolina Theatre, built in 1926.
With the official start of Spring just around the corner and Cary residents seeing longer daylight hours and warmer temperatures, Spring sports season has arrived. Snow started falling early Sunday morning, December 9, 2018, dropping at least six inches in most of Cary before turning to rainy mix in the afternoon. We knew our Facebook fans would be outside snapping photos of the #Snowmageddon, and asked for their contributions for a post of snow photos.
One of the greatest things about Cary, and most surprising to me when I moved here from Southern California 10 years ago, is the prevalence of ethnic cuisine. To my delight, I discovered East Chatham not long after we arrived.
