Thursday I, along with the town manager, met with David King of Triangle Transit. He wants to start holding weekly meetings to focus on the transit needs of the communities in Wake County. To be more specific to Cary, he would want to know what it would take for the majority of Cary citizens to support a transit plan for the region.
In closing, I would like to leave you with a quote from Robert Strauss that goes: “Success is little like wrestling a gorilla. You don’t stop when you get tired – you stop when the gorilla gets tired.”

What does the Opt Out mean for Cary? All projects have a time limit once they are approved to ensure they are built and meet current code or at least “newer” code. By giving projects more time there is a potential that they will not meet current code.

Each of the candidates had prepared an advertisement complete with video, song, and an endorsed-by message. Next each candidate answered questions from the class.
After a short reception, we boarded the train to Cary. As we arrived in Cary and departed the train, the Cary Band played “I’ve been working on the Railroad.” I thought that only happened in the movies.
Cary, NC – This week was a busy week for not being a council meeting week. It included a Mayor’s Association outing, a few speaking engagements, and entertaining a group from Le Touquet, France.
