Stormwater and flooding have caused problems for decades – especially in older areas of town developed before 2000 when Cary didn’t have many of the stormwater mitigation regulations and riparian buffer requirements that we have today. Monday – Meeting Cancelled
Monday started with calls to council members to hear of questions or concerns about the scheduled council meeting on Thursday. When I talked with staff later in the day we agreed that the Hurricane would be having an impact on Cary Thursday evening so we decided it was best to cancel the meeting. Read more
